since a new mold is already coming out for ROTF voyager prime,
i figured i may as well paint this old favourite of mine into nemesis prime

it would have been nice if we had a thundercracker for the ROTF NEST line.
instead, we were given nebular starscream, which wasn't bad...
anyway for the heck of it, i made my own thundercracker custom and here it is

Transformers ROTF Desert Combat Rampage

Another nice haul this month!
This is a great release by takara with a top notch paint job!
The color scheme is actually more accurate to what was seen in the movie, than the first release of this figure.
while it has an almost flawless bulldozer mode, the jackhammer mode (ie. the actual robot mode that was seen in the movie) has some horrendous back kibble! but not to worry, its eeasily removable. with or without the back kibble, the figure looks great from the front, and has no problems standing up thanks to the support from the hardened treads which are supposed to be his whip-like weapons. it has an extra attack mode which was never seen in the movie, but i prefer to leave it out... not a big fan of spider bots.
